David John Lorince, age 62, of E. Providence, Rhode Island, died unexpectedly Sunday, April 3, 2016 at home. David was born May 10, 1953 in McKeesport, PA and grew up in Port Vue. He is the son of Helen (Katrenic) Lorince of Elizabeth Twp. and the late John C. Lorince. 

He is survived by his son, David Joseph Lorince and granddaughter, Ella of Riverside, Rhode Island; brother, Raymond (Barbara) of Elizabeth; and sister Carol Boros of N. Versailles; also aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  David was predeceased by his rescue cat, Tulee.

David graduated from South Allegheny High School and Steel Valley Technical School.  He lived in Rhode Island since the late 70’s and was a welder at Blount Marine in E. Providence until his recent retirement.  He enjoyed motorcycling with friends, kayaking, gardening, flea-markets, detailing his vehicles, cookouts and shipbuilding.  Family loved bus trips to Tresckow to visit Baba and family. 

Friends will be received Friday, May 6^th from 2:00-4:00 PM at Strifflers Of Port Vue, Port Vue, PA. Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass at 4:00 PM with Father Daniel Straughn officiating.  “We love him & miss him & may he rest in peace.”
