Joseph J. Ferenac, 91, of Greenock, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 in John J. Kane Regional Center, McKeesport.

He was retired from plant protection at U.S. Steel's National Tube Works and a member of Holy Family Polish National Catholic Church, McKeesport. He was a Navy Seabee, during World War II, serving in the Pacific Theatre. He was also a member of C.F.U. Lodge #146 of Versailles, Elks #11 of Pittsburgh and Club Dobrotvor. Born April 15, 1925 in Versailles, he was a son of the late Peter and Mary (McKotch) Ferenac and brother of the late Marjorie Ferenac. Joseph is survived by his wife, Sophie (Novak) Ferenac and cousins. No viewing is scheduled. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 9:30 AM in Holy Family Polish National Catholic Church, with Father Bruce Sleczkowski officiating. Everyone please meet at church. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Daniel F.
