Roy E. Miller, age 88, of White Oak died April 27, 2016 in UPMC Mckeesport Hospital. He was born April 29, 1927 in McKeesport, a son of the late Roy and Frances Ihly Miller. Roy was a member of St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon. He was a graduate of Waynesburg University and was formerly employed by General Motors as an Accountant. He enjoyed woodworking, refinishing furniture, yard work, gardening and spending time with his family. Roy was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Miller. He is survived by his beloved wife, Betty Ann Harvey Miller , four sons, John (Donna), Douglas (Patricia), Mark (Jamie) and James Miller, one sister Catherine 'Kay" and her husband David. 6 grandchildren, Tyler, Bella, Gavin, Mackenzie, Katie and Lexie. One great grandchild Dehlilah. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon on Sunday from 2-4,6-8 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Church. www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.
