James D. Flynn, age 85, of North Huntingdon died April 30, 2016 at his home. He was born October 1, 1930 in Greensburg, Pa., a son of the  late harry and Elsie McKay Flynn. Mr. Flynn was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, North Huntingdon. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Westinghouse Bettis Atomic. He was a former Boy Scouts assistant leader who traveled to Filmont, New Mexico with his troop.

  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jack. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Altmiller Flynn, two sons, Michael, James (Laura), one daughter, Marianne Saber (Bruce), one brother, William (Janice), four great grandchildren, Daniel (Becky), Tim, Trevor and Shane Flynn.
