Mark “Peebs” Peebly, age 61, of McKeesport, died April 6, 2019. He was born in McKeesport on March 16, 1958 and is the son of the late William and Thelma Markland Peebly.

Peebs began his career as an auto body technician in the 70’s with his father at the family business, Right Cross Auto, in Christy Park. He continued his career in the same field at various car dealerships in the area. He loved his family and friends, especially his children and granddaughter. Mark was the life of the party and if you met him once you had a friend for life.

He is survived by his children, Rachel (Mitch Kelly) Bales of White Oak and Jacob Peebly of Port Vue; granddaughter, Jayci Kelly; siblings, Janice (Russ) Frum of Silverthorne, Colorado, Jay (Nancy) Peebly of McKeesport, Joan (Henry) Kowalski of McKeesport, Patty (the late Thomas) Carey of Norfolk, Virginia; nieces and nephews, Jason (Vicki) Peebly, Teddy Olinsky, Chip (Kristie) Olinsky, Tabitha Meekins, Adam (Krislyn) Barden, Seth (Beth) Kowalski, Amy (Michael) Cortes, Brandon (Amber) Peebly, Andrew Barden, Austin Barden, Jenna Peebly; and many great nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his wife, Terri Peebly and step children Katelyn and Michael Campbell. He was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Peebly, who died on February 11, 2019.

Family and friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (412 678 6177) on Wed., April 10, 2019 from 3:00 until 9:00 p.m. Services will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
