Edward Geletko, age 87 of Clairton, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019 in Southwestern Nursing Center in West Mifflin. Born October 9, 1931 in Clairton, he was a son of the late John and Ann (Zofchak) Geletko.

A retiree of the Clairton Street Department and member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, Edward was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Buchleitner Geletko; his daughters Mary Lou Herschberger and Susan Peterson; and his brothers William, Joseph, Thomas, Zeke, and John Geletko. He is survived by his sons Rick and Raymond Geletko, both of Clairton, and John (Donna) Geletko of South Park; his six grandchildren; his six great-grandchildren; his siblings JoAnne Kaskin and Richard, Michael, Betty Ann, and Patsy Geletko; and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, 555 5th. St., Clairton, PA 15025 (412-233-5700) on Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 10 AM in St. Clare of Assisi Parish. Interment will be private at the request of the family. www.bekavacfuneralhome.com
