Edward F. Buzek, age 88 of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 in Jefferson Hospital. Born December 31, 1930 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late John and Anna (Leskovac) Buzek.

A member of St. Michael's Parish in Elizabeth Twp., Edward was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War, a retired instrument repairmen for more than 35 years with US Steel National Tube Works in McKeesport, a member of Jednota, and an avid gardener. He is survived by his wife Barbara (Morris) Buzek, his daughter Kathryn Buzek of Kissimmee, FL, is grandchd Jii Rayne Buzek, and also nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Edward was preceded in death by his ten siblings: Sr. Mary Edward, Helen, and Annabelle Buzek, Katherine Madden, Louise Gusty, and Michael, Francis, Alfred, John, and Raymond Buzek. Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, 4504 Walnut St., Versailles Borough, McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-3454) on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 10 AM in St. Michael's Church with Fr. Thomas Wagner officiating. Procession and burial with military honors will follow to Mt.
