Anne F. Frendzel, age 94, of North Huntingdon died May 12, 2016 at Transitions Health Center. She was born October 26, 1921 in Hazelwood, Pa., a daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Ferencz. Anne was a member of St. Stephen's Byzantine Catholic Church, North Huntingdon, Pa. 

She enjoyed sewing, reading, painting, crocheting, baking, and gardening. She was a volunteer at the St. Stephen's Church pirohi sale for many years. Anne worked as a secretary/bookkeeper throughout her lifetime at various locations. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert Frendzel in 1988 and her son-in-law, Richard J. Cowan Jr.; two brothers, George and John Ferencz; one sister, Mary Ferencz. She is survived by three daughters, Mary Coleman (Scott), Ruth Engelhart, and Barbara Cowan; one brother, Albert Ferencz (Helen); one sister, Margaret Gegick; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon on Sunday 2-4- 6-8 p.m. A parastas service will be held Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m . A funeral liturgy will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen's Byzantine Catholic Church in North Huntingdon followed by interment in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
