Elmer Thomas Honick, 66, of Pittsburgh, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2019. He was born December 26, 1952 in McKeesport, son of the late Joseph and Florence (Randolph) Honick. Prior to his retirement, Elmer was a heavy equipment mechanic and an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and Penguins fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward, Charles, James; and sister, Ruth. He is survived by his son, Ryan Honick and his wife, Sanya; brothers, Joseph, Theodore and Kenneth; sisters, Karen, Ethel, Kathy and Grace. Friends will be received on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon. A memorial service will take place at 7 p.m. www.shirleyfuneralhome.com
