Ann T. Ferrin, age 83, of Westmoreland City, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. She was born October 29, 1932 in New York, NY, a daughter of the late John and Theresa Breen.
Prior to her retirement, Ann worked for Community Market in the Deli and Bakery. She enjoyed playing pool, solving crossword puzzles and watching t.v. soap operas. She was an enthusiastic sports fan who loved all the Pittsburgh teams, along with the Yankees and Notre Dame. Ann loved to make her friends laugh and she was the sweetest person in the world. She is survived by her two sons, Charles A. Ferrin (Joyce Dumbaugh), John Ferrin; two daughters, Catherine A. Gothie and her husband, Tom, Barbara White; grandchildren, Charles, Jonathan and Regina Ferrin, Michael and Christina Goodlin, Michelle Hartman, Heather Gothie and Melissa Ferrin; great-grandchildren, Mia and Connor Goodlin, Krista, Daniel and Tanner Hartman. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
