Helen Uhrin passed away peacefully on August 29, 2019 at the age of 91 in North Huntingdon.  Born in McKeesport, March 25, 1928, she was the daughter of Phillip and Mary (Lacey) Riley.  She was a lifelong resident of the McKeesport area, spent many years in Versailles Borough, and co-owned Eddie’s TV with her late husband, Ed, who passed away May 31, 2006. She enjoyed spending time with family and many friends and living life according to one of her favorite saying: “If you’re not fun, don’t come.”

Mourning her are her children and their spouses, Carol  (Jack) McCune, Ed (Linda) Uhrin, Ray (Cathy) Uhrin, and Mary Susan (Kin) Brown.  She was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Previously deceased are her siblings: Phil (Jean), Jack, James (Rita), and Nora Riley. Friends will be received at the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, Versailles, on Monday, September 2, 2019 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church in McKeesport.  Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assoc., 1100 Liberty Ave., Ste. E201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 or St. Patrick’s Church, 312 32nd St., McKeesport, PA 15132.
