Nancy M. (Foley) Voron, died from a brain aneurysm on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Presbyterian Hospital surrounded by loved ones. She was born on October 8, 1937 on the South Side of Pittsburgh, PA and a resident of North Huntingdon, PA since 1957.
Daughter of the late Thomas M. Foley and Margaret Hornyak Foley. Devoted wife of John T. Voron for 59 years. Loving and proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Also survived by sons Mark T. (Karen), John R., Vincent J. (Salima), and Nicholas A. (Mary), grandchildren Joshua Slagy, Erik Voron, Nicole Paulovich (Darrin), Vincent S. Voron, Lucas S. Voron, Nikolai M. Voron and Michaela M. Voron, great-granddaughter Peyton Paulovich. Cherished sister of John P. Foley (Judith) and Patricia White (Jeff). Sister in law of William Voron (Irene), the late Mary Natale (Frank), and Michael Voron (Helen). She was a very caring and compassionate registered nurse since 1993, former Mellon Bank employee Norwin office, and served many years on the Democratic Committee for N. Huntingdon Township. She graduated from St. Casimir High School and received her nursing degree at Allegheny County Community College. Visitation Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, N. Huntingdon, Funeral Prayer on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 10 a.m. St. Stephen's Byzantine Catholic Church, 90 Bethel Road, N. Huntingdon.
