God has called another angel home. Mary Louise (Pysz) Holliday, age 79, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019 at ManorCare Health Services in Whitehall. She was a retired self-employed Home Interior’s accessory specialist, a member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Township and a former member of Ascension of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church in Clairton. She and her husband Mitchell were members of the musical group, THE HOLLIDAYS, and were also owners of their own farm raising beef cattle, chickens, horses and crops.
Born September 14, 1939 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Wesley Basil Pysz and Mary (Lucas) Pysz. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Mitchell R. Holliday; son, Mark V. Holliday of Kokomo, IN; daughters, Leslie M. (Scott) Boyd of Elizabeth Twp. and Pamela A. (Annette Bongiorni) Holliday of Carlisle; four grandchildren, Charlie A. Holliday, Alexis M. Boyd, Zachary S. Boyd and Tiana Frechette; brother, Wesley Basil (Bonnye) Pysz, Jr. of Paeonian Springs, VA; also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a half-sister, Marian Foster. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Monday, September 16, 2019 from 1 to 3 and 5 until the hour of blessing service at 7 PM in the funeral home with Rev. Thomas A. Wagner officiating.
