Myrl Thomas Anderson, 82, of North Huntingdon died Sunday May 22, 2016. He was born December 15, 1933 in Connellsville, a son of the late Charles Thomas Anderson and Alice M. (Schultz) Hood and was also preceded in death by his wife Arra (Gray) Anderson; step-father Samuel Hood and a grandson Bruce A. Jaffre Jr. He was retired of U.S. Steel, Homestead and was a member of Ardara United Presbyterian Church.

Myrl is survived by his children Deborah (Gary) Thoms of Hermine, Linda (Sam) Conyette of Wendel, Arra (Don) Sciulli of Manor, Kimberly (Rege) Kerrigan of Arona, and Randy (Carol) Anderson of Ellsworth; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the William Snyder Funeral Home Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200, where a funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday with Rev. Car, officiating. Interment will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
