Joann (Jo) Marie (Atwater) Caputo Born 5-1-1950 died at home 6-3-2016. Beloved wife of 47 years to William Caputo, survived by Daughter Lynn Ann (Caputo) Garbinski, Grandsons, Joshua Garbinski, Zackery Garbinski and Granddaughter Julia Garbinski also survived by her sister Terry (Atwater) Duvall. 

Preceded in death by her mother Theresa Atwater, father Asa Atwater and brother Asa (Bud) Atwater. Jo was a friend to all, always ready to help everyone and loved life. Her loves were her family, her garden, her pond, her cats and her friends. She loved to travel, especially to Nassau, Bahamas and the many wonderful vacations there. She was the love of my life, my partner and my best friend. We grew up together as husband and wife, through good times and bad times, but were always in love and will be forever. Jo you will be missed tremendously and remembered forever. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin.
