Leonard C. Lehman Jr., age 75, of Clairton, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020 at Southwestern Nursing Center. He was a retired teacher in the Franklin Regional School District. A 1963 graduate of Clairton High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he was a member of Wilson Presbyterian Church in Clairton. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his pup, Whooly.

He belonged to many gardening, horticulture, and scientific groups including Men's Gardening Club of Pittsburgh, Daylily Society, Penn State Horticulture, Phipps Conservatory, and many more.

Born March 1, 1945 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Leonard C. Lehman Sr. and the late Minnie Marie (Rippel) Lehman. He is survived by his aunts, Lois R. Laird of Bentleyville and Lucy Rippel of Forward Twp.; also, numerous cousins. No visitation is planned. Private funeral service with Pastor Ben Robinson officiating is at the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth. Private burial is in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp. Memorial contributions may be made in Leonard's name to any of the gardening clubs listed above.
