Mafalda “Babe” (Sessa) Rubino peacefully passed on June 13, 2020 at the age of 93, with her loving family by her side. Babe was the devoted wife of the late Albert “Max” Rubino.

Loving mother of John “Beans” and Jamie (Lynn) Rubino. Adoring grandmother of Jamie (Shannon) Rubino, Joel (Nicole) Rubino and Lara Rubino. She is also survived by her sister LaVerne Hondal She was preceded in passing by her parents Antonio and Carmella Sessa, and granddaughter, Nicole Ann Rubino.

Babe loved to be around people and make them happy. She brought lots of smiles and happiness to people thru her ownership of Babe’s Place in East McKeesport, and Dari Delight in Turtle Creek.

She also enjoyed gambling and traveling. Most of all she enjoyed time spent with her family.

Family and friends are welcome in the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa, 15148, 412-824-4332, on Monday from 3pm – 8pm.

A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11am. Babe will be laid to rest beside her husband in Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery. Please visit www.alfierifuneralhome.com for online condolences.
