Eleanore V. Schaffer, age 85 of White Oak, died Wednesday, June 22, 2016. She was born in Russelton, Pa. on April 21, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Marinak) Mitro.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years Edward G. Schaffer; Sons, Jeffrey W. (Kim) Schaffer of Monroeville and Scott M. (Jackie) Schaffer of Peters Twp.; daughter Donna (Gary) Thomas of McLean, VA. Grandmother of AJ, Katie, Matthew, Jacquelin, and Abbey.
Services were held yesterday at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, Inc. 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor) 412-678-6177.
