William James Ferree, age 88, of Glassport, formerly of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at home. An Air Force veteran having served during the Korean War, he retired as a maintenance worker at U.S. Steel Irvin Works. Born November 21, 1931 in Large, he was a son of the late Hobart McKinley and Clara (Schneider) Ferree. He is survived by his sister, Faith Ferree, with whom he resided; brother, Alvin L. Ferree of Jefferson Hills; sister-in-law, Loretta (the late William) Keene of Dravosburg; nieces and nephews, Alvin L. Ferree II of Bethel Park, Michelle R. Stafford of Jefferson Hills and Richard A. (Maryanne) Ferree of Jefferson Hills; nephews, Kenneth M. Pokomy and family, Matthew A. Ferree and family, Ian N. Ferree and family, and Adam J. Ferree; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Gwen Robis and brother, William Keene. No visitation or services are planned. Arrangements by the Paul E.
