Dolores Jean “Hilo” Bradley Hughes, 74, of Glassport, formerly of Centre Alabama, Versailles and Clairton, passed away on Tuesday, August the 25th 2020 at Jefferson Hospital.
She was born in McKeesport on September 6th 1945 to the late Alfred James and Bessie Smith Bradley. Dolores Hughes was the loving wife of 56 years to Joseph R. Hughes Sr. She is survived by her daughter Cynthia Marie (Sydney) Walton of McKeesport, sons Joseph R. (Zita) Hughes Jr. of Glassport, and Damian R. (Dawn) Hughes of Fruithurst Alabama, grandchildren Jesse, Brandon, Christopher, Nikki, and Anna, great-grand-children Brandon Jr, Breylon, Angelina, Aryana, and Ryliegh, brothers Thomas Bradley of West Elizabeth, Arthur Bradley of Rostraver, John Bradley of Pittsburgh, and William (Michelle) Bradley of Arizona.
Dolores Hughes was preceded in death by sisters Betty Laughlin and Barbara Scarff.
Dolores enjoyed reading, watching Nascar and the Steelers, camping, playing cards, going to auctions, and listening to country music. She graduated from Clairton H.S. and CCAC West Mifflin in Accounting. She worked as a welfare case-worker for the department of human services in McKeesport for thirty years. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, August 29th from 9-12 noon, with service to follow at noon at S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025.
