L. James Auberle, 92, of North Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020. He was born July 19, 1928 in McKeesport, a son of the late Logan Mains and Lillie Mae (Davis) Auberle. Prior to his retirement, James was a manager for Bell Telephone for 42 years, a veteran of the US Navy having served during the Korean War Era, and a member of Mary, Mother of God Catholic Church, McKeesport. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed bowling, golfing and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur Joseph Auberle. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Mary (Savona) Auberle; son, Dr. James Auberle; daughter, Karen Hathcock and her husband, Rick; sister, Donna; grandchildren, Melissa (Jacob) Studer, Christine Auberle; great-grandson, Jackson Asher. Services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mary, Mother of God Parish, McKeesport in memory of James. Arrangements made by the James W.
