Tamara “Tammy” Lee (Thompson) Taylor, age 53, of Ardara passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016. She was born January 2, 1963 in McKeesport, a daughter of Larry Donley and Carol Ann (Harvey) Thompson. She was a long time member of the United Presbyterian Church in Ardara where she started a youth group. She worked for over 8 years at the Colonial Grill in Irwin and was a member of the Irwin Historical Society. She is preceded in death by her sister Kelly Ann Thompson.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of over 24 years Jack Taylor; children Carrie Ann Rush of McKeesport and Nicholas Andrew (Rachael Ellen) Taylor of North Huntingdon; grandchildren Brittany Taylor Speer, Olivia Page Krunt and Jack Earl Taylor; brother James Roger Thompson; uncle James Perry (Carol) Thompson; and cousin Heather Lynn Lischner and her son Andrew James Thompson. Friends and family will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the William Snyder Funeral Home, Inc. 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200 where everyone will gather at 11 a.m. Saturday for a funeral service with Elder Glenn Myers officiating.
