Arlene Kay (Susan) Bush, age 71, of Pittsburgh, died in hospice on December 29, 2020. She was a 1967 graduate of McKeesport Senior High School. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in German with a minor in Special Education from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the University of Pittsburgh. Ms. Bush worked for 32 years with UPMC as a medical technologist before retiring in 2013.
Beloved by family and friends, she was known for her kindness, sincerity and contagious sense of humor. A loving and dedicated mother, she is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Peter) Johannesen of Hampton Bays, NY, her son, Jared (Sarah) Bush of Pittsburgh, PA, and 3 grandsons, Chandler, Elijah and Jonah. She is also survived by her brother, Scott (Pam) Susan, her twin sister, Adrienne (Philip) McClure, her cousin, Susan Lindberg, nieces, Laura (James) Edwards, Kendra (Andrew) Huson, Alyssa McClure, and nephews, Mark (Shelly) Susan, Chad (Bobbie) Susan, and Ryan (Meghan) McClure. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Lillian (Rosnik) Susan.
Services will be scheduled for a later date when it is safe for people to gather and celebrate the life of such a cherished person.
