Arthur DuCarme, age 99, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 in Grandview Estates, Elizabeth Twp. He retired in 1980 as a steelworker with National Tube in McKeesport. He was a U.S Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA). Born August 31, 1921 in Gastonville, he was a son of the late Arthur H. and Lillian (Heil) DuCarme and husband of the late Charlotte E. (Church) DuCarme. He is survived by sons, Douglas DuCarme of Elizabeth Twp. and Joseph DuCarme of Elizabeth Twp.; step-son, William Howden of Elizabeth; 6 step-grandchildren, numerous step-great grandchildren and step-great-great grandchildren; also nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by brothers and sisters and a step-son, James Howden. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 1 PM until the hour of service at 3 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Susan Hans officiating. In order to comply with Covid-19 restrictions, guests are required to wear masks and follow CDC social distancing guidelines. You may be asked to limit your visiting time so that all guests will have an opportunity to pay their respects. The family would like to express their understanding to those who are unable to attend due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
