Lottie Belle Shearer Elias passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021 while living at Arden Court in Monroeville. She was born on January 28, 1932, in Harrison City, to the late Alvin and Blanche Walter Shearer.
She met her husband, Dave, while working at Westinghouse Air Brake in Wilmerding, and they spent sixty wonderful years together. She will always be remembered for her many talents in the home, including her cooking, sewing, and her numerous creative and beautiful projects. They enjoyed spending time with their grandchildren and wintering in Florida. Lottie was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State football. She was an active member of Union Presbyterian Church in Wilmerding, the Order of the Eastern Star, and very active in Rainbow Girls with her daughters, including serving as Mother Advisor.
In addition to her parents and her siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Elias Sr.
She is survived by her children Mona (Jack) Cycak of Irwin, PA, David (Marilyn) Elias, Jr. of Manor, PA, Jim (Rowena) Elias of Commerce City, CO, and Tanna (John) Elias Pugh of Bellefonte, PA. Loving grandchildren, Lauren (Jake) Ashley (Rob), Elizabeth (Ralph), Kristina (Paul), Christopher (Alex), Curtis, Kaitlyn (Nathan), Erin, Emily, and Matthew. Also, survived by her great grandchildren Ryan, Carter, Thomas, Katherine, Maria Belle, and Jack, many nieces, and nephews.
The family would like to extend their thanks to Arden Court and to Heartland Hospice for their love and care of Mother over these last years.
Services were held at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) Burial followed at West Newton Cemetery Association.
