Ruth E. McWilliams, age 90 of Somerset, formerly of North Huntingdon went to be with the Lord on March 12, 2021  She was born January 1, 1931 in Belle Vernon, a daughter of the late Charles and Eva Usher Barr. Ruth was a member St. Paul's United Presbyterian Church in Somerset. She enjoyed adult coloring and gardening.   

She is survived by her son Richard Lynn (Linda), a daughter, Evelyn Frederick (Richard), grandchildren, John, Richard, Nicole, Cazzie, Michael, Heather, Elizabeth, and numerous great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lewis in 2007, brothers John, Frank, and Louis Nichols and  Charles Barr, sisters Bertha King, Clara King, Marie Bernard, Lena Corley, Eva Smith, Norma Prentice, Alfreda Houseman.

Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon on Thursday from 2-6 p.m. A service will follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
