David Lee Kettren, 74, of North Irwin, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021.  He was born August 22, 1946 in Greensburg, son of the late Augustine and Margaret J. Kettren.  David was a Staff Sergeant with the US Army Reserves, worked at Westinghouse Electric, and was an honorary member of the NIVFC.  He enjoyed fishing, watching old western movies, and spending time with his family.  Surviving are his wife, of 53 years, Sonnet (Lee) Kettren; children, Pamela (David) DePalma of Ruffs Dale, David A. (Twiggy) Kettren of Penn, and Kimberly (Thomas Werkman) Reed of North Irwin; grandchildren, Brandon (Chelsey) Sansonetti, Madison Foltz, Vanesah Foltz, Sonnet Myers, Anthony DePalma, Caleb, Pamelyn and Jaxon Werkman; brothers, Timothy (Joycelyn) Kettren of Larimer, Mark (Donna) Kettren of North Huntingdon; his special fur baby Bella; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 12-3 p.m. at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA.  A service will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, David's children request donations made to Sonnet Kettren to help cover the cost of the funeral arrangements. www.shirleyfuneralhome.com
