Florence (Balog) Ocilka Sullivan, age 88, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Paramount Senior Living South Hills. She retired as a production line worker for General Motors Fisher Body in West Mifflin.

She was a member of Saints Joachim & Anne Parish, St. Michael Church in Elizabeth Twp. and was active with local senior citizen groups. Born January 1, 1933 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late John and Susan (Lucas) Balog.

She is survived by her husband, Roderick P. Sullivan; sons, George (Cynthia) Ocilka of Boiling Springs, SC, David (Lynn) Ocilka of Chester Springs and John (Angie) Ocilka of Elizabeth Twp.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Ann Stash of Waynesburg; also, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, George E. Ocilka, and sister, Carol Heck. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 5-8 PM and Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 8:30-10 AM. In order to comply with Covid-19 restrictions, guests are required to wear masks and follow CDC social distancing guidelines. You may be asked to limit your visiting time so that all guests will have an opportunity to pay their respects. The family would like to express their understanding to those who are unable to attend due to the Covid-19 pandemic. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday at 11 AM in St. Joachim & Anne Parish, St. Michael Church with the Rev. Thomas A. Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, SW Region, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
