Herbert C. Anderson, 85, of North Irwin, died Saturday July 23, 2016. He was born March 24, 1931 in North Irwin, a son of the late Herbert T. and Karen A. (Dahlman) Anderson and was also preceded in death by his son in law, John Cenis and a brother, Robert C. Anderson. He was a graduate of North Huntingdon High School, Class of 1950, was a retired employee of Westinghouse Electric Corp., Trafford, and a member of Norwin Alliance Church.

Herb built five homes in North Irwin and enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, repairing cars, roller skating, and piloting his plane. He is survived by his wife of sixty four years, Marion L. (Veverka) Anderson; his children, Joyce Lynne Cenis of Irwin, Janet Lee Green of North Irwin, and Jean L. (Robert) Klassen of Westmoreland City; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; his sisters, Violet Drylie of North Irwin, and Norma Parry of Larimer; also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday with Rev.
