It’s with a sad heart to announce that John Vincent Messina passed away on the afternoon of April 6th, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Pauline (Battaglia) Messina, formerly of Carnegie, PA.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy, a beloved brother, husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Mary; his two sons, Eric (Sarah) Messina, and Jason Messina; his beloved granddaughter, Madelyn; his two sisters, Maryann (Messina) Young and Antoinette (Messina) Gordon; five nieces and nephews.

He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Eleventh Ward Club in McKeesport, PA.
