Lawrence “Jim” Cooper, age 81, of White Oak, died on Sunday, April 25, 2021.  He was born in Robinson Twp. on November 7, 1939 and is the son the late Robert L. and Lois M. Shoup Cooper. 

He was retired from the US Air Force and then worked in the aerospace industry for TRW and Northwood Aerospace in California and Utah.

He is survived by his wife, Judith Cooper of White Oak; nephews, James Edward (Michele) Cooper of Arlington, Virginia, Gary Lee (Ainslie) Cooper of Hilton, New York, Lawrence Alan (Karen) Cooper of Glenshaw, Robert Lee (Karen) Cooper of Butler; nieces, Kathryn Mae Cooper (Daniel) Bonnett of Glenshaw, Debra Jean Cooper (James) Ferguson of Pittsburgh.                     

A gathering was held at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). Burial in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
