Jessie E. “Mickey” Wireman Lash, 73, of North Huntingdon, died at home January 8, 2016. She was born September 3, 1942 in Pitcairn, the daughter of the late Audrey Bard Koch and was also preceded in death by her step father Charles Koch. Mickey was a longtime active member and volunteer for Adopt A Pet and had fostered over 100 dogs at her home over the years.

She was a former homeroom mother and active with PTA when her sons were in school. She and her husband spent a lot of time visiting relatives and friends in Florida over the last thirty years. Mickey is survived by her husband of over fifty three years, C. Ronald Lash; sons Scott L. Lash and his wife Christine of Ocala, FL, also grandchildren, and Jeffrey M. Lash and his wife Sheri of Baltimore, MD. At Jessie’s request there will be no viewing. A memorial service is planned for a later date.
