Sharon Ann Sabo, age 76, of Blaine Hill, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Jefferson Hospital. She was a member of Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary Russian Orthodox Church in McKeesport. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved her dogs. She liked gardening, cooking, baking, and taking care of her home. Born June 9, 1944 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late John E. and Anna (Homer) Buchina. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joseph Sabo Jr.; son, Joseph J. (Diane) Sabo of Blaine Hill; daughter, Melanie Sabo of Blaine Hill; also, nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gene Buchina Sr. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 3-8 PM with Panachida at 7:30 PM. A funeral service will take place on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 10 AM in Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary Russian Orthodox Church in McKeesport with Fr. Dimitri Ermakov officiating.
