Regina “Jean” L. Harchut, age 98, of White Oak, died Monday, July 12, 2021. She was born in McKeesport on February 7, 1923 and is the daughter of the late Blair and Mary Kaminski Harchut.
She retired from US Steel National Tube, McKeesport, in the accounting office. She was a member of Corpus Christi Church and was a member of the Christian Mothers. She was an avid bridge player, enjoyed bingo, bowling and spending time with her friends.
She is survived by her nieces; Joan Gibel of White Oak, Marilyn Harkett (Michael) Dore of Monterey, California, and Susan Harkett (Jack) Turley of Wetherfield, Connecticut, and Dawn Harkett of Plum. She is preceded in death by her siblings; Alberta Gibel, Edward Harchut, and Blair Harkett.
Family and friends will gather at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Friday, July 16, 2021, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Noon at Mary, Mother of God Parish, Corpus Christi Church, 2515 Versailles Avenue, McKeesport, PA 15132. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Polish Cemetery.
