Laura B. Bruno, 100, of Menlo Park, CA, formerly of Clairton, PA, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, July 5, 2021. She was born in Clairton on August 13, 1920, to the late Theodore and Bridget DiLullo Belfiglio.

While a resident of Clairton, she was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish and in Menlo Park the Church of the Nativity. Laura started every day with a crossword puzzle and walk, exercising her mind and body. She was a wonderful cook and baker known for her old country Italian specialties. Laura had a lifelong commitment to volunteering in her church and community. She also enjoyed adventurous travels, including a safari trek in Africa.

Laura was the loving wife of twenty-eight years to the late Albert Frank Bruno, who preceded her in death in 1971. She is survived by her children: Albert (Colette) Bruno of Palm Desert, CA, Dennis Bruno of Menlo Park, CA, Bernadette (Michael) Fornaciari of Newbury Park, CA and Susan Bruno of Menlo Park, CA; her grandchildren: Lauren Godfrey, Kelly Bruno, Annamarie Bruno, Daniel Bruno, Ryan Bruno, Matthew Fornaciari and Eric Fornaciari; great-grandchildren: Nicholas Godfrey, Grace Godfrey, Elise Godfrey, Luka Bruno and numerous nieces and nephews. Laura was preceded in death by her husband Albert, daughter Janet Ann, son Richard Alan, brother Alexander Belfiglio and sisters Lucia ‘Lucy’ LaFrance, Philomena ‘Fanny’ Mauro, Ramelia ‘Millie’ Worrell, and Domenica ‘Honey’ Cushey.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025 to be followed by a private blessing service at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Private interment at St. Clare Cemetery will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of their choice. Attendees are respectfully asked to please wear a face mask out of consideration for all present.
