Nickolas A. Ionadi, age 92 of White Oak, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Brookdale of Mt. Lebanon. Born August 21, 1928 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Giuseppe and Rosa (DeLuca) Ionadi. A cement mason with his union, Local #526, Nickolas was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish - St. Patrick's Church in McKeesport and also a volunteer with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. He joins his wife, the late Dorothy J. (Baglos) Ionadi, who passed away January 3, 2017. Nickolas is survived by his children Nickolas R. (Cheri) Ionadi of Collier Twp., Dominic (Daryl) Marks of Freedon, and Mary Jo (Alan) Lincoln of Mt. Washington; his grandchildren Nicole (Troy) Williams, Caitlin (Sean) LaVelle, Daniel Marks, Amanda (Mario) Romanelli, Lisa Smith (Vince) Butts, Shanna Howser, Aleigha Johnson, and Addison Lincoln; his great-grandchildren Sean Thomas LaVelle, Jr. and Mila Romanelli; and also nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, 4504 Walnut St., Versailles Borough, McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-3454) on Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021 at 10 AM in St. Patrick's Church with Fr. Joe Beck officiating.
