Rebecca J. (Merritt) Atkinson, 41, of White Oak, died Wednesday August 3, 2016, at home. Daughter of Stephanie (Polka) Merritt; sister of Lucas J. Merritt (wife Keisha Lewis) and Alexander W. Bowland; aunt of L. J. Lewerrit. Rebecca loved animals and loved the beach, shopping, cooking, and gardening. She loved her family and friends, and was always there to help. She was a vibrant beautiful person. There will be no viewing.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday August 13, 2016, in Broadway Alliance Church, 1000 Broadway Ave., East McKeesport, with Pastor Al Thompson, officiating.
