Allan B. Cook, 85, of North Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021 at his home.  He was born June 11, 1936 in Munhall, Pa., a son of the late Albert and Anna (Slinchock) Cook.  Allan was a graduate of Duquesne University where he earned his Master’s Degree in Education and was a veteran of the US Army and Army National Guard.  Allan was a principal for the West Jefferson School District, a member of St. Agnes Parish and Knights of Columbus.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Joanne Cook and sister, Jean Mihailoff.  He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary Lucille (Martin) Cook; son, Paul Allan Cook and his wife, Kathryn; daughter, Eva Marie Cook; grandchildren, Nathan Cook and Brandon (Leah) Cook.  A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 10  a.m. in St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon.  Interment to follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Irwin.  Donations may be made to St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon, PA or Wounded Warriors in memory of Allan.  Many thanks to Alane and her hospice nurses for the wonderful care they gave my husband.  Thanks to Annette and Linda for being wonderful caregivers.
