Sara Alberta (Ferrari) Allen, age 97, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021 in Grandview Estates. She was a retired self-employed beautician. Born July 6, 1924 in Blythedale, she was a daughter of the late Deano Ferrari and Bessie (Martinelli) Ferrari Brunory and wife of the late Robert E. Allen, Jr. She is survived by sons, Robert H. (Bonnie) Allen of Elizabeth and Dean (Pam) Allen of White Oak; six grandchildren, Melanie (Larry) Dougherty, Brian (Cari) Bernadowski, Terri Jo (George) Kundrat, Stacey (Brad) Winter, Kris (Rob) Crossett and Nicole (Frank) Tibbitt; six great-grandchildren, Megan Dougherty, Max and Liam Bernadowski, Alex and McKenzie Winter and Nicholas Crossett; son-in-law, John Bernadowski of North Huntingdon; and sister-in-law, Arlene Brunory of Georgetown, DE. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Bonnie Bernadowski; sister, Irene Knox and brother, Harry “Buzz” Brunory. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 10AM until the hour of service at 11AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dr. Sang Choi officiating.
