Steven J. Swindell, age 34 of Castle Shannon, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at home. Born January 25, 1987 in Pittsburgh, he is the son of Michael S. (MaryJane) Swindell of Bethel Park and Theresa Smith of Castle Shannon. Steven was the owner of Tower Surplus and a sales representative for his father's business: PennDex. Besides his parents, he is survived by his brother Michael Swindell of Castle Shannon; his sisters Amanda (Josh) Minoski of South Park and Paige Swindell of Bethel Park; his nieces and nephews: Royelle Servich, Charleigh, Cole, and Clyde Minoski, Georgia and Huck Urlakis; his aunts and uncles Patricia Smith of Bethel Park, Henry Smith of Smock, Charles (Judy) Smith of Scott Twp., Patricia Smith of Castle Shannon, Geraldine (Ed) France of Canonsburg, and Patricia (David) Shelpman of Castle Shannon; and finally his loyal and loving dog Paige. Steven was preceded in death by his grandparents Robert Swindell and John and Marilyn Smith; his aunts and uncles Richard Swindell, Jack Smith, Gerald Smith, and Susan Smith; and his special great uncle Charles Gillespie.

Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, 555 5th. St., Clairton, PA 15025 (412-233-5700) on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 12 Noon until a 5:30 PM Final Goodbye.
