Edith J. Lyons, age 90, of West Deer, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at Arden Courts, Monroeville.

She was born July 3, 1926 in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Clifton Vincent and Margaret Maxwell O'Brien.  Edith was a member of St. Victor Catholic Church, West Deer, PA and enjoyed spending time in her garden.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Lyons.  She is survived by her three sons, James, Ken and his wife, Karen, Mark and his wife, Cynthia; six grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received on Friday from 10  to 11 a.m. at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA.  A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. with Fr.
