William A. “Chip” Chepanoske, age 84, of Forward Twp., passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at home. He was a retired draftsman for Westinghouse in Jefferson Hills and was also a taxidermist and the founder of Trophy Crossroads Taxidermy Studio. He was a minister for more than 40 years and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Monongahela. A U.S. Navy veteran, he was a past board member for the Council of Three Rivers American Indian Center, a lifetime member of the NRA, and a master in tang soo do karate. Born March 16, 1937 in Duquesne, he was a son of the late Anthony and Margaret Chepanoske and husband of the late Marian (Andrejchak) Chepanoske. He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Ashcraft of Elizabeth Twp.; sons, Anthony (Andrea) Chepanoske of Buena Vista, William Chepanoske of Lakeside, AZ and David Chepanoske of Sewickley; five grandchildren, Shane (Nicole) Smith, Danielle (Wesley) Miller, Taryn Chepanoske, Brent Smith and Mike Chepanoske; three great-grandchildren, Carson Smith, Brent Smith and Payton Miller; brother, Anthony (Jean) Chepanoske of Duquesne; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, John Chepanoske. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 4-8PM. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 12 Noon in the Church of Jesus Christ, 525 6th Street, Monongahela, PA 15063 with Evangelist Robert Nicklow, Jr. officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
