Richard D. Miklusko, age 85, of West Mifflin, died on Monday, October 25, 2021. He was born in Homestead on July 16, 1936 and is the son of the late Anthony and Anna Bodnar Miklusko. He served in the United States Airforce from 1954-1958. He graduated from Penn State University with an associate’s degree and proprietor of Solar Refractories, Inc. in Hazelwood and in Portage, Indiana. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends at his lake house on Lake Stonycreek, PA.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Burk Miklusko; sons, Richard Miklusko of Baldwin; Mark (Gaina) Miklusko of Munhall; daughter, Linda (Michael) Churma of Harrison City; grandchildren, Kara Churma; Ryan Churma; step grandchild, Justin Devries; and step great-grandchildren, Ava Devries; and Alex Devries.

Family and friends will gather at Strifflers of Dravosburg/West Mifflin, 740 Pittsburgh-McKeesport Blvd. (412-678-6192) on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 2603 Old Elizabeth Road, West Mifflin, PA 15122, on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment with military honors will take place at the National Cemeteries of the Alleghenies.

The family and our team members appreciate that all visitors follow appropriate guidelines of social distancing and wearing of masks if not fully vaccinated. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding. The family also wants everyone to know that they completely understand if anyone is not comfortable with visiting and paying their respects during this time.
