Rita S. Williams, age 93 of Clairton, passed away peacefully in Indiana with her sons and daughter-in-law Pam at her side on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. Born January 19, 1928 in Elizabeth, she was a daughter of the late Pete and Jeanette (Barron) Seidling. A former telephone operator for Bell who also worked for G.C. Murphy & Co. in Clairton and Ames in Bethel Park, Rita was a member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Clare of Assisi Church in Clairton and the Clairton Senior Citizens. Hers was a life well lived. Her love, strength, and memories will be greatly missed. She will live on forever in heaven and in our hearts. Besides her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her husband Robert Williams and her siblings Lois Follador and Lawrence "Dutch" Seidling. She is survived by her children Robert (Pam) Williams of Plainfield, IN, Jean (Charles) Minford of Clairton, Kahrl (Rick) Smith of Butler, and Charles (Norma) Williams of Indianapolis, IN; her nine grandchildren: Robert and Jeffrey Williams, Karie Wright, Jaron and Matthew Minford, Karisa Williams, April and Alicia Raymond, and Michael Goliat; her fourteen great-grandchildren; her two great-great-grandchildren; her nieces Dinean (Follador) Benack and Lynne (Seidling) Fedorka; and also many nephews.

Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, 555 5th. St., Clairton, PA 15025 (412-233-5700) on Sunday, October 31, 2021 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 10 AM in Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Clare of Assisi Church, Clairton.
