Former Duquesne resident, Patricia “Patti” Gibbons, 66, of White Oak, passed away unexpectedly on November 7, 2021. Born March 17, 1955, she was the daughter of the late William and Patricia (Cloonan) Gibbons, of Duquesne. Preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” Lutz and brother William “Gibby” Gibbons, she is survived by her children, Michelle Frizzi of West Mifflin and Michael (Lisa) Frizzi of North Huntingdon. Patti was sister to Jo (Jack) Znavor, Mary (Jim) Bick, James “Gibby” Gibbons, Maggie (late “Cookie”) Chiponis and Colleen (Tom) Washko. She was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. Patti retired from Liberty Distribution, in West Mifflin. She appreciated life and her retirement with family and friends. Without a doubt, Patti had a love for lottery tickets and shopping, was an avid reader of novels, loved watching the Steelers, and enjoying a light beer in the sun! She was known for her homemade dishes, which she shared with family and prepared for numerous charity events. Patti’s generosity and thoughtfulness will be missed by all, as her gifts were always from the heart. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR, where a Blessing Service will be held on Thursday, at 7:30 p.m., with Rev. Thomas Lewandowski, officiating.
