Mark Emil “Utz” Cominotti, 64 of Dravosburg, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at his home. He was born in McKeesport on January 12, 1957, to the late Emil and Loretta G. McCallister Cominotti. He is survived by his daughters Stephanie (Bob) Taylor of South Park and Emily Cominotti of Belle Vernon and sons Anthony and Wesley Cominotti, both of Dravosburg. Further survivors include his sister Christine (Michael) Gobbie of Glassport, his grandchildren Luke and Morgan, and nieces and nephews Michael, Mark, and Carly Gobbie, as well as Nicki and Erin Cominotti. Mark was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Jimmy and Dale Cominotti. He was a former member of the American Legion in Glassport and the Dravosburg Fire Hall, as well as the bass player of the bands Stone Image and Collateral Damage. He enjoyed classic rock, creating music, and spending time in nature. Mark worked as a machinist for Precise Metals.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, December 5, 2021, from 2-6 p.m. at I.M FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 203 4th St, Dravosburg, PA 15034. A service will take place at the funeral home directly after the visitation. Inurnment will occur at Jefferson Memorial Park at a later date. A celebration of life luncheon will occur Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 1 p.m. at the Dravosburg American Legion Hall.
