Arlene McAllister, age 75 of McKeesport, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021 in UPMC Montefiore Hospital. Born May 25, 1946 in McKeesport, George and Margaret (Dertich) Hancharik. Arlene formerly lived in New York where she was a dispatcher for Yellow Frieght and a member of the Sweet Adelines singing group. She also worked as a clerk for Keys Wholesale in McKeesport, attended Christy Park United Methodist Church, and was an avid cat lover and rescuer. She is survived by her siblings Marjory Rost and Janice Marie Page, both of McKeesport, and George (Carol) Hancharik of Elizabeth Twp. and also nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, 4504 Walnut St., Versailles Borough, McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-3454) on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM. The family asks that all attendees who are not vaccinated to please wear a mask. A Blessing will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 10:30 AM with Fr. Donald Voss officiating. Procession and burial will follow to St. Nicholas Cemetery, North Versailles. www.bekavacfuneralhome.com
