Charlotte (DeRoss) Greer, age 73 of Union Twp. and formerly of Clairton, passed away Friday, September 2, 2016 in Jefferson Hospital. Born July 3, 1943 in Clairton, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Lasich) DeRoss. |
A member of St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church in Elrama, Charlotte was employed at her family's Millgate Restaurant in Clairton and was also a member of the Elrama Craft Club. She is survived by her husband Charles F. Greer; her three children Charles W. (Annette) Greer of Jefferson Hills, Brian Greer of Monessen, and Krissy Greer of Elrama; her four grandchildren Nicholas, Gina, Jordan and Oraia Greer; her siblings Frances (Gary) Pastore of Clearwater, FL, Theresa Vekosky of Jefferson Hills, and John DeRoss of Elizabeth Twp.; and also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, 555 5th. St., Clairton, PA 15025 (412-233-5700) on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 10:30 AM in St. Isaac Jogues Church, Elrama, with Fr. Richard Tusky officiating.
