Berlyn Lewis, age 96, of Elizabeth, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Heritage Manor Senior Living. He retired as a supervisor for Hercules in Clairton. He was a member of Round Hill Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth Twp. where he was a former deacon and a member of the Thriving Survivors Senior Group. A World War II Air Force veteran and former member of the Civil Air Patrol, he was a former security guard with Landmark Security Services. Born September 28, 1925 in Large, he was a son of the late Daniel and Hannah (Lewis) Lewis and husband of the late Katherine (Zofchak) Lewis. He is survived by his daughters, Nancy (Mark) Neff of Elizabeth and Sandra Geiss of Elizabeth; grandchildren, Jonathan (Rachel) Neff of Forward Twp., Katherine (Scott) Jamison of Elizabeth, Craig (Lauren) Geiss of Bloomington, IN and Steven (Emily) Geiss of Columbia, MO; great-grandchildren, Elijah Neff, and Anna, Chillian, Kieran and Cormac Jamison; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by sister, Leona Kessler, and brothers, William, Orville and Daniel Lewis, and David Alderson. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 10 AM in Round Hill Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. D. Matthew Stith officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH.
