Anthony A. Brooks, age 87 of N. Huntingdon, died Sunday, September 4, 2016. He was born on Aug. 16, 1929, the son of the late Walter and Julia (Kuttles) Brooks and husband of the late Virginia D’Antonio. Anthony retired from National Tube US Steel where he was a foreman. He was a member of White Oak American Legion, the McKeesport Gun Club, Renzie Seniors, and attended Life Span in Versailles often. He also loved to golf and bowl. He is survived by sons Kirk (Mary) Brooks of Ruffsdale, PA, Eric Brooks of Seattle, WA; sister Pearl (Edward) Stanko of N. Versailles; also 4 grandchildren. Friends will be received on Friday, September 9th from 11-2 pm at Striffler’s of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor) 412-678-6177 where a blessing service will be held at 2 pm. Burial will follow. Family requests no floral tributes. Remembrances may be made to the White Oak American Legion, Capitol St. or St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Ledger St., N. Huntingdon, PA.
